Terms of Service

Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms, “terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using Cento.io and Cento.net (operated by Cento SmartSafe ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these terms. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who have access to or use Cento.io and Cento.net


This agreement is between you ("You" or "Your" in this agreement) and CENTO A.G. (“The Company")

Service Offered             

The Company operates a purchasing platform and storage and transference system that enables users to receive, access, store and transfer the virtual smart currency known as Cento. This license agreement permits You to use the service; subject to certain conditions, rights, and obligations


Deposits and Withdrawals

You may deposit Cento into your account at any time during the duration of your contractual relationship with the Company. Payment for Cento will be accepted via debit/credit card (MasterCard, Visa, etc.) supporting the 3D-Secure protocol. The Company does not accept third party or anonymous payments in favour of your account.      

The Company shall perform withdrawals of your funds upon an application for withdrawal made via the platform.        

Upon the Company receiving an instruction from you to withdraw funds from your account, the Company shall pay/transfer the said amount within 30 business days, if the following requirements are met:                       

  • The withdrawal instruction includes all necessary information;               
  • The instruction is to make a bank transfer to your bank account; and                  
  • At the moment of payment, your Cento account balance exceeds or is equal to the amount specified in the withdrawal instruction - including all payment charges.                             

Withdrawals will only be executed by crediting your personal account. The Company will not effect withdrawals by transferring the funds to any other third party or to an anonymous account. The Company reserves the right to decline a withdrawal request when you ask for a specific transfer method and the Company has the right to suggest an alternative.           

All payment and transfer charges will be borne by you and the Company is entitled to debit your account for these charges.


User Obligations               

You shall:                      

  • be of age of majority in Your local jurisdiction; and,                    
  • be responsible for Your own Cento balance/account; and,                   
  • carefully review the necessary instructions and terms before engaging in any transactions; and,       
  • ensure that Your device(s) are fully updated and do not contain viruses, malware or other forms of malicious software; and,                  
  • ensure that Your use of Cento complies with local laws.                     

You shall not:                   

  • use your Cento account in a manner likely to interfere with other users or servers (e.g. excessive API calls) or network spam; or,                    
  • use your Cento account in a manner contrary to the laws of Your local laws.    


The Company reserves the right to refuse to process or to cancel any pending Cento Transaction as required by law or in response to a subpoena, court order, or other binding government order or to enforce transaction limits.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to use your Cento account to store, send, request, or receive Cento in any ways which are not supported by the Company.


Limited Intellectual Property License                

The Company licenses your Cento account to You on a personal, non—exclusive, royalty—free, non—transferable, worldwide—basis, for the purpose of holding and transferring Cento smart currency.                  

You are not permitted to re—distribute the account, modify any code or use any of the content in your account, including images and text, as part of any other software or project of any kind. You must obtain the Company’s written permission before acting contrary to copyright law or the terms of this clause.


Specifically Disclaimed Risks             

Using Cento can entail risks. The Company specifically disclaims and shall have no liability to You for the following risks:                       

  • operating system failures (mobile or desktop); and,                    
  • interactions between Your hardware, software and Your Cento account; and,                    
  • cloud backup software (e.g. certain Android distributions) may upload your private files/information to third party services; and,                     
  • malware, viruses or other malicious software on Your device that is able to take control of or interfere with the account; and,                 
  • theft of Cento.         


No Warranty     

Your Cento account is provided to You at no cost, “as—is" and without any warranty whatsoever, to the maximum extent permissible by law. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Company does not warrant that the account is fit for Your purpose, even if You have previously provided notice on our intended purpose, and does not warrant that the account will operate in a bug—free manner.



You agree to indemnify the Company against any claims, damages, losses or legal fees incurred due to Your use (or misuse) of the account.



No action or inaction of the Company shall be considered a waiver of any right or obligation by the Company.



The Company reserves the right to amend, revise, modify, and/or change this Addendum at any time without prior notice. All changes shall take effect immediately and such updated version of the Addendum shall be published on the Company‘s Website.

Clients who do not agree with any amendment, review and/or change of this Addendum may request to terminate their user agreement with the Company and close their account.    



You may not assign this agreement.


Governing Law    

The Agreement and all transactional relations between you and the Company shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland and the Parties agree that all disputes shall be finally settled in the courts of Switzerland.
