Cento was created to be a hybrid solution - it’s a currency that we hope will tackle a number of problems around the world, as well as simply being a better and more viable alternative. Not only is Cento stable and secure, it was also built to empower those that need empowering the most.
We’ve laid out a roadmap for Cento that will see it develop into an extremely versatile currency; one that’s smarter than existing fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies. It’s not just large commercial entities that are going to benefit from the foundations we’ve laid with Cento. We want Cento to deliver the power of currency back into the hands of the people.
Cryptocurrency began with valiant and noble aims as a decentralised currency. However, in recent years the multitude of cryptos available have bloated, and these original aims have fallen to the wayside in the face of technology, societal pressures, and regulations. Cryptocurrency is not the solution.
Cento is the way forward
By taking stock of what traditional fiat and cryptocurrencies can offer, we’ve managed to distill the best properties from both of these into the values that move Cento forward. We understand the problems that are faced when dealing in fiat and crypto and we’ve planned how Cento can avoid them.
How does Cento empower the underdog?
There are many possible uses for Cento; including individual usage, the finance and banking sector, governmental use, and commercial-level transactions. These are all ways in which Cento can be used, but just because it can be adapted and applied to the financial sector, doesn’t mean it wasn’t built for the people.
Individual usage and acceptance of any currency is so important, and we believe that Cento (more so than any other) will benefit the individuals that use it so greatly that global acceptance is a certainty. No other currency is created to be as stable and secure for individual use as Cento.
What we are providing with Cento is not just a way for governing bodies and large corporations to more easily process transactions - we’re providing a currency that actually allows individuals to escape the clutches of the modern banking system.
Cento appreciates as it’s used. What this means is that the MORE people use Cento in their day-to-day life, the MORE their money (the value of their Cento) will be worth. We believe this is the correct approach to currency and the only way for individuals to shed the burdens of a system which seeks to oppress them.
The faster we roll out and grow Cento, the quicker we can diminish the repercussions felt by those who have fallen foul of financial troubles like debt, crippling credit, and loans they never stand a chance of paying back.
